Item Analysis Report

This report analyzes learner scores on a per question basis.

Access to this option is only available if you have been granted the following sub User Permission of the Manage Reports User Permission: Execute Item Analysis. See Report Builder User Permissions for instructions on granting or denying this permission.

On the ControlPanel:

Click on the Reports menu to expand it.
Click Report Builder.
Click next to Assessments/Surveys to expand the list.
Click Item Analysis.
Select one of the following from the Assessment Type drop-down list:

Assessment
Survey/Evaluation
Appraisal
User Assessment

The default report shows the percentage of learners who scored in the upper 27%, middle 46% and bottom 27%. You can customize the report to display any percentages you want. Select an Instance from the drop-down list.

Click Build Report.

The resulting report shows each answer and the number of learners who selected the answers. The report also shows how many testers skipped (omitted) a question altogether. Use the forward and backward buttons to move through each question in the assessment.

Item Analysis Report Descriptions

Column	Description
Question	Indicates the actual question.
Correct Answer	Indicates the correct answer to the question.
Answer 1	Indicates the first correct answer to the question.
Upper 27%	Indicates the number of users who fall within the upper 27% percentile.
Middle 45%	Indicates the number of users who fall within the middle 45% percentile.
Lower 27%	Indicates the number of users who fall within the lower 27% percentile.
Omit	Indicates the number of questions omitted by the user.
Total	Indicates the total number of questions.
